Local historian, artist, author, generational cattle rancher, veteran, Mike has been a spokesman for ranchers & local history.

He has spent much of his lifetime as an advocate for ranchers rights as well as putting into writing the local history of the untamed piece of the west that is the Owyhees.

I grew up hearing Mike's stories and recounts of historical events, or even a tall tale now and then. My parents worked for Mike when we were younger so many days were spent in the saddle or following Mike around the barn yard hearing his stories. I'm beyond honored to have his books in my shop!
